Windows 7 + Epson LQ 300
Installation process
1.
Installed using the
Driver available with Windows 7. Select as EPSON LQ-300+ /II ESC/P 2.
2.
Test printed with
Print Test Page. The problem will be encountered. @EJL 1284.4 @ EJL News in the
left hand corner on the paper head.
3.
From the details in
the Printer Test Page, observe the Data file topic: (EP7MDL00.GDP) And in the
section Additional files used by this driver: observe the address of the driver
installed (c:\windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\....)
4.
Open the EP7MDL00
file.GDP comes up to fix
5.
Search for the word
@EJL and then edit. From the top line to the bottom line by remove @EJL 1284.4
and @EJL (beware of file permission rights)

6.
Save the file and
perform the restart.
7.
Test type as the installation ending.
